the greasing intervals are as follows
above deck: there are a total of 23 grease fitting on the equipment on deck
the intervals for the 2 fittings on sternroller, 4 fittings on the cans, carrier bearing on the drum,3 snatch blocks on boom, boom 1 joint, the 4 fittings on the davit, 2 fittings on purser, 2 fittings on the shocks on the boom, and the 2 fittings for the brailing roller are greased every morning during fishing operations. the 2 fittings on the anchor winch are greased monthly. the amount of grease added is intil u see clean grease coming out. the type of grease we use for those is lubriplate 630-2.
below deck: there are a total of 4 grease fittings. the cutlass bearing is given four pumps of grease every morning, the fitting on the back of the transmission is given 3 pumps of grease every 1000 hours. during operation the PTO's off the front of the main and auxillary are greased once a week .

SECTION 4 FIRST AID MEASURES
INHALATION:
Vapor pressure is very low and inhalation at room t
emperature is not a problem. If overcome
by vapor from hot product, immediately remove from
exposure and call a physician.
SKIN CONTACT:
Remove any contaminated clothing and wash with soap
and warm water. If injected by
high pressure under skin, regardless of the appeara
nce or its size, contact a physician IMMEDIATELY.
Delay
may cause loss of affected part of the body.
EYE CONTACT:
Flush with clear water for 15 minutes or until irri
tation subsides. If irritation persists,
consult a physician.
INGESTION:
If ingested, call a physician immediately. Do not
induce vomiting.

SECTION 5 FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS:
Slight fire hazard
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA:
Foam, Dry Chemical, Carbon Dioxide or Water Spray (
Fog)
SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES:
Cool exposed containers with water. Use air-suppli
ed
breathing equipment for enclosed or confined spaces
.
UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS:
Do not store or mix with strong oxidants. Empty
containers retain residue. Do not cut, drill, grin
d, or weld, as they may explode.

SECTION 6 ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
OCCUPATIONAL RELEASE:
Scrape up grease, wash remainder with suitable pe
troleum solvent or add
absorbent. Keep petroleum products out of sewers a
nd water courses. Advise authorities if product ha
s entered
or may enter sewers and water courses.

dle or store near heat, sparks, flame, or
strong oxidants.

EXPOSURE LIMITS:
OIL MIST IN AIR (Not Encountered in Normal Usage):
5 mg/m
3
UK OES TWA
10mg/m
3
UK OES STEL
VENTILATION:
Provide local exhaust ventilation system. Ensure c
ompliance with applicable exposure
limits.
EYE PROTECTION:
Wear splash resistant safety goggles. Provide an e
mergency eye wash fountain and
quick drench shower in the immediate work area.
CLOTHING:
Wear appropriate chemical resistant clothing.
GLOVES:
Wear appropriate chemical resistant (nitrile) glove
s.
RESPIRATOR:
Consider the need for appropriate protective equipm
ent, such as self-contained breathing
apparatus, adequate masks and filters.
